Valentine’s Day Cocktail Class
On Saturday, February 13, we kick-started the holiday weekend with our Valentine’s Day Cocktail Class. With a focus on luscious cocktails ideal for sharing with your loved one, the Creative Development Team took participants through the step-by-step process of creating a number of artisanal cocktails. Check out the recipe of the crowd favorite, The Jilted Lover, pictured below!
The Jilted Lover:
1.5 oz Ancho-cinnamon infused 360 Double Chocolate Vodka
.5 oz Six & Twenty Carolina Cream
Garnish: small pinch ancho chili powder and grated dark chocolate (optional)
Combine all ingredients (except ancho powder) in shaking tin, add ice, shake, double strain over fresh ice. Top with ancho chili powder.
Ancho-cinnamon infused vodka:
1 750ml of 360 double chocolate vodka
2 ancho chili peppers(chopped)
3 large cinnamon sticks
Add cinnamon and ancho chili peppers to vodka, cover and store in dark place away from sunlight for 1 week (or sous vide at 125 degrees F for 2 hours).Taste. Strain through cheesecloth lined chinois or fine strainer. Cover and Refrigerate.
